Hi friends!! I so so so hope your Christmas was amazing. Ours was just perfect. Spent time with family, friends enjoying good food and company. The boys played and got to see all of their cousins and friends. It was simple and just what I needed after a chaotic month. I wanted to get on today and share some winter decor inspiration with you! Hello! It's Monday, some people hate Mondays, I personally love them now days because I can stay home with my kiddos and start a new week. Hey, loves! I finally got back to my DIY loving lifestyle recently. I was at the Walmart, buying 54654623 things I didn't need and I came across this $5 contact paper. I had seen people using it on counter tops and I wanted to do it because, let's face it, actual marble counter tops are insanely pricey and we're for sure not ready to go gutting our kitchen anytime soon. My dingy fake wood, laminate counter tops had started to make me twitch a little because they had stains, burn marks, scratches, etc on them and I wanted a fresh new look. I've been having some technical difficulties over here.... my phone has "no more storage" and it's shattered and turning off, wont take pictures, won't send emails, wont get text messages... one would think it's time for a new phone but I REALLY don't want to pay for another one! Soooo... I'm a loser and totally realized that I NEVER showed our bathroom reno when it was all complete! WHAT THE... We re painted for like the 5th time, updated the faucet and completely redid the floor. I recently gave it yet another "refresh" by switching out the rug for my vintage runner I had in the kitchen. I love shopping my house when I'm feeling bored with my decor. Just trading out a rug can make the room look totally different! Let's go see what my bathroom looks like today...

Hi Friends! Happy Monday... I actually don't mind Monday's anymore now that I have some extra time in the week at home. I used to feel so overwhelmed on the weekends trying to get stuff done before the new week when I worked full time but now I don't stress because I have two extra days to get those things done and blog more! So happy about that. Life has changed so much lately. Once kids get into sports and school it seems like all we do is run around ALL THE TIME TO EVERY PLACE EVER! I feel like a zombie. This post has been a long time coming! I got these lockers a few months ago but never got around to posting about them. I did share a picture on my INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK but wanted to share where I got them and how I decided on turning it into a pantry! I love this little corner even more now with these old green lockers. I've been trying to add in some color in my home and this muted green is definitely one of my faves...

Hi all! This post is kind of a fun one for me because I've wanted to do it for a while. I sometimes wonder if because I don't see the need or purchase certain things at the store, if I'm normal? haha sounds silly. But there are a few very common things that people can't live without that I just haven't ever felt the need for. I'd love to know if you feel the same way! Somethings just aren't necessary! And as I'm going through this wanting-to-purge-all-the-things-and-live-simpler phase, I'm wanting to cut out some other things in my home that I pay for often that I think I can live without... Hello there friends!!! I have been wanting to do this post for a while but never seemed to get around to it. I never finished a baby book so I wanted to have somewhere where I can have this story forever and thought maybe some of you would enjoy reading it too. It's so funny how different everyones birth stories are so I love reading them...

 Summertime is in full force over here. We have pretty much lived at the pool this year, and around any body of water that will have us. We are living it up and loving every second of it. I made this yummy lemonade and thought I'd share how I did it. It's so easy, it doesnt seem blog worthy... but I can't just keep it to myself! It has a funny little story of how it came about too...

 Well yesterday was my birthday... It turned out to be pretty great thanks to all my wonderful friends and family. I was able to do something I truly love and that (obviously) is decorating. It's therapy for me and I love that I'm able to play in my home and switch things up often...

Happy Easter weekend!!! It was a beautiful day today... It has been so gloomy but the sun came out today for a bit and it was almost 60 degrees, it's what I live for!! Windows open and kids playing outside... UNFORTUNATELY it's supposed to snow tomorrow!!! WHAT?! So we're doing an egg hunt inside... Still gotta keep the kiddos happy. I thought I'd share how I'm decorating my table this year for Easter because I'm having family over for lunch. Its super simple and I just used items I already had on hand to make it easy... 

Here it is!!! Way late... but late is better than never! Baby Rowen Scott Nave's room is complete and he loves it! Originally when I made the inspiration board for this room, I had a baby girl in mind. I SERIOUSLY thought this baby was going to be a girl... It was just in my gut! BUT the doctors proved me wrong! So I made some tweaks to this room to make it more "boyish". You can see the original plans for the nursery HERE... Let's see what it looks like!
